Leave of Absence
Orion Steel Group LLC complies with all state and federal laws relating to legally protected absences and offers you time off for a variety of reasons, including:
- Serious illness or injury;
- Serious illness in your immediate family;
- Disability or death of a family member;
- Military Service

To apply or for more information on Leave of Absence, please contact The Standard (The company’s partner in managing Leave of Absence). You can contact The Standard by calling 855.290.9475 or report your leave on-line by visiting www. standard.com and choosing Report an absence from the bottom right area of the home page. On the next page, select Log in to Report an Absence; a new window will open to begin the process. You will be asked to provide the following information:
Company ID: Orion Steel Group
Username: Your last name and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (e.g. smith1234)
Password: If this is your first time reporting an absence, you will enter the word “password” as your password.
You will then be prompted to choose a personal password.
All employees must have pre-approval for non-FMLA Leaves of Absence.
